Good things come in small packages

Colin’s story is one of quiet courage and determination.

Born as one of twins, he entered the world small, fragile, and underdeveloped. Many veterinarians believed he would never grow strong enough to live a comfortable life and recommended that he be put to sleep to spare him future suffering. At the time, his chances did not look promising.

But Colin had other plans.

Despite the difficult start, he proved that heart can be stronger than circumstance. He grew into a small but incredibly resilient horse whose spirit far outweighs his size.

While Colin may not be destined for the sport arena, he has found a far more meaningful role. He is the most beloved partner of our students — endlessly patient, kind, and forgiving. He teaches beginners their very first steps in the saddle, never taking advantage of their inexperience.

The kind of horse every barn is lucky to have.
